I got a new red team sweatshirt for Christmas with white letters that are embroidered on. When I washed (and yes, unfortunately also dried) information technology, the lettering came out pinkish. I washed it in absurd, but it happened anyway. I'd similar to see if I can correct it. The lettering is narrow, about a quarter inch. Any ideas?

What can I do next?

Try some baby wipes. I take found that the newborn ones from Huggies work the best. I was able to get dried blood out of a white sweater with them so perchance it will assistance you. Promise it helps and have a happy New Year.

I bought a coca cola shirt for my son back in the day. It was bright crimson with whuite lettering and it did the same thing in cold h2o. I called the manufacturer who was no help at all. I noticed EVERY time information technology was washed information technology did it again. I half expected it to turn pink which the master part of the shirt didnot. I plant a product that is like drier sheets. I cannot recall the name just it's in the laundry aisle and y'all put it in when y'all wash something like this and it pulls all the loose dye ibnto information technology's self. And it does aid.

Shout or somebody has a product for only this thing. I tin can't remember the name of the product specifically but I used information technology two years agone when my husband through a new burgandy wash material in with the kids clothes and everything turned out pinkish. I works pretty practiced.

Try a Q- tip with peroxide on it.
If that does not work call your local dry cleaner and ask.

My husband bought this stain remover chosen Zout (red spray bottle). I swear past information technology - it works on everything. So, I have a cream turtleneck that i put away concluding winter, and brought out final week. I noticed that in that location pink all over (meaning, it was washed with something red and it bled onto my foam shirt). I sprayed the zout on it, and done it with my next load of laundry and it completely came out - a year afterwards afterward the stain was gear up besides. Clorox bleach pens rock! I utilise one all the fourth dimension for my boys' clothes since they tend to become disgusting around the neckline from food spills. Also, if the whole thing is tinged pink you might but put it in the launder with a load of bleachable items. I have washed this before and the white part became white again and the colored office didn't fade. Good luck!

A few years ago, I had a similar situation with my daughter's red & white embroidered shirt, and my female parent suggested I take a Q-tip and individually treat the pink area with little dabs of a bleach solution. I don't recall the strength of the bleach (I'd showtime with weaker, then strengthen information technology if needed). But I dabbed from my piffling cup of bleachy water, and information technology worked! (don't use straight bleach!)
